Baymont by Wyndham Marion OH

I stayed at this location for Mother's Day weekend. The lady at the front desk "Tina" was amazing. I explained I don't like taking elevators. She was so kind, helped me carry my bags and escorted me on the elevator to put me at ease. She even explained if I wanted help in the a.m. to call down and the clerk on duty would come ride down. I was fine taking stairs but she went far above her duties and that makes a person want to come back.

Great location, right next to a mejier’s and a steak and shake and 5 min from other restaurants and stores. The room was good, nothing special but it accommodated us all nicely. The maid service was very kind and was great about getting our trash when we set it out. The best service was from the front desk when we checked in, “Billie” helped us and she was very welcoming and kind. I didn’t notice any other type of “hello” or “welcome” from any of the other managers during our stay. All in all not a bad little hotel for the price.

I love coming to this hotel, it's super nice for the price and it is close to my mom and aunt so when I drive the 3hours we stay a couple days and always stay here the staff is friendly, the rooms are always clean (and if you need extra trash or ice bags they happily give them to you ) the breakfast is super yummy too. I love the cheesy omelets. And this time they had biscuits and gravy and they were delicious. We will always pick this hotel!

Rooms were okay, comfortable. Our second lock was broken. Coffee machine ran out in the lobby. Desk staff was nice, a little all over the place. Continental breakfast was nice and is pet friendly (extra $20).

I stay here about once a week as a get a way to relax. I also stayed here on my wedding night. The pool really is amazing at night when it's adults only. The beds and pillows will give u an amazing night's sleep, although the comforter could be better in my opinion. Absolutely love breakfast. The sausage gravy and biscuits is my favorite, but on the days it's egg and sausage patties I toast a bagel and make a breakfast sandwich. I don't know why this hotel is rated 3.6, with the extremely amazing staff and everything else I mentioned I truly believe it deserves a much better rating. You won't regret choosing this hotel for ue own get a way.

This was me and my husbands 1st stay here since it turned into Baymont. I must say we really enjoyed our 3 day stay! The front desk clerck was so inviting! Very professional and helpful! The rooms were very nice breakfast was good as well! I will say the pool could’ve used a little more attention but all in all I would definitely stay again! Also,location is super nice! You have a gas station right across the road and a Meijer right behind!

Rooms are clean but our top blanket had a cigarette burn hole in it and pillows where really soft and comfortable the bed was comfortable we was up here for business and we was planning to stay longer but one thing I can say is there is people in and out a lot not guest that are just staying but people that you can tell that have a active addition problem and the first night we stayed the hall smelled like weed and am not a person to judge a person but when guest are staying they should also feel comfortable with their stay not wondering if they are gonna be in the right spot at the wrong time I think this hotel needs to watch who they let rent rooms and watch people really close because I know some hotels don’t allow that kind of nonsense but don’t think it’s hard to tell because you can and guest need to feel like they are safe and have a relaxing time when they get back to the room not having to worry and feel like their gonna get knocked in the head and get robbed I always keep my guard up no matter where I stay or state I go but this hotel done it for me on staying longer if they can block those people from running in and out knowing what they are doing then they would have had my stay extended but I am sure am not the only one

The evening desk staff at check-in were awesome. Definitely one of the better things about this motel. The motel overall was an average value the facility could use some upgrades and cleaning. The carpeting in the halls was pretty dirty and they're definitely was paint touch up that needed to be done. On my floor the ice machine was not working which was a minor inconvenience We went downstairs to get ice. The coffee machine for the dining area was broken and no coffee on the first day of stay second day towards the end of the breakfast. One of the staff members obtained an old-time percolator and got us some coffee. Overall my stay was good and the price was competitive.
